Yigal Azrouël Spring 2010 RTW

I have been a long time fan of Yigal {it helps that he is a gorgeous man who just happens to be straight!} His lines and structure are immaculate. I love this muted palette of grey, black, and nude with pops of color {be sure to check out the gorgeous orange number down below!} This collection reminds me a bit of Alex Wang but it is still stunning and I would buy each of the pieces I selected from his Spring Collection!

{perhaps one of my all time favorite LBDs}

{love this flowing white jumpsuit. the cut is flawless!}

{unique colors and patterns, and love this layering. And the shoes are killer!}

See entire collection right here!

All is Not Lost!

So my beloved Macky (aka my Mac computer) decided to fail at life this past week and a half. She felt as though she could no longer go on. Thankfully, I have brought her back to life and she is now in full and working order. My deepest apologies for the lack of blogging! How I have missed it so! Next to come....

Men's Spring 2010 - Paris

So I'm pretty sure Men's Fashion Weeks are fantastic. Beautiful clothes & beautiful men. What could be a better combination?!! So please grab a tissue or two to wipe up the drool...

Lanvin
Love the grey and as always, the tailoring is perfection. But I'm a bit confused about the gladiator sandals/socks situation...

Absolutely adore this color. And love the rolled up cuff on the pant

Givenchy
I love the hair, the shorts/tall socks, and the print.

Simply classic. Look at that tailoring. The perfect suit.

Dior Homme
Another classic suit. And this man is to die for!

I love the collar-less shirt and the color combination.

YSL
What can I say? I love me some grey.

I'm really feeling this layering. And that short sleeve trench? I kinda really love it!

Rick Owens
Classic Owens. The layering and the sharp lines and the details!! Love this.

Fantastic leather jacket.

Louis Vuitton
You can always count on Louis for some fabulous pops of color and the cuffed shorts are so hot!!

This collection really should be seen in its entirety. The bags alone are worth the time. If only I had some major dollars - I would be splurging immediately on some men's bags for myself!!

Again, the layering is wonderful. I love the camo-like print on the jacket and the steel blue color of the pants with the mustard shoes. Yumm. Mr. Jacobs - you are a stylish man's dream!!

See all of these collections and others from Paris as well as Milan right here!

This is why I want to move to London...

Yep, pretty sure they have some of the greatest fashion in this world. And I only wish I could be going to London Fashion Week for the anniversary this year. Everybody and their brother has decided to have their collections show in London for that simple fact and I soooooooo wish I could be there to witness it.

*Hint hint, birthday, hint hint man friend, hint hint*

How to Spend a Saturday Night

I wish I looked good enough could to prance around my apartment (also wish I had one of those!) on a Saturday night like these photos...

Sigh

More beautiful ways to spend a day or night here....
{disclaimer: some photos are a bit risque - click at your own risk!}

The fashion world will soon be in mourning...

One of the most depressing things to hit the fashion world in a while (aside from that little ol' thing known as the recession, the downward spiraling economy, the ever-growing numbers of layoffs, closings, mergers, buy-offs, and bankruptcies, etc...) HERE

 Mr. Theyskens: Your talent will be dearly dearly missed at the ever commercial-minded, visionless, screw-talent mentality known as Nina Ricci. However I know you will go on to do bigger and better things! Cannot wait to see what you pull out of those sleeves next.

I heart Paris Fashion Week

I know these have been everywhere in another picture from the Sartorialist but I am absolutely obsessed with these leather trousers. If I could only buy one thing this season it would be them. Ugh. Damn you dwindling bank account and no employment...

How fabulous is this fur coat? I am still torn on my feelings toward fur for fashion so we'll just pretend this is faux ; )

Um, feathered mini skirt? Plaid {Burberry?} jacket? Most adorable curled bob haircut ever? Done. Done. And Done. My life just may be complete if that skirt were to become a part of my sad and unexciting closet...

Absolutely adoring the slouchy rolled up trouser pant that is HUGE this season. I wish I could pull them off as immaculately as she does. So simple but oh-so chic.
