I think I've got marriage on the brain today...

Engagement/wedding/post nup photos + editorial shots = YES PLEASE! Lord I hope I have the funds to do something like this when (*rephrase - IF*) I get married! Absolutely love the grittiness of these photos (Queens, NY!!) and the beautiful shots of the couple. So fashion, so editorial, so couture. LOVE THIS.

It's Official

I'm such an emotional girl. Definitely started to tear up at this story....
Such a great proposal ; )

I wish I were crafty!

How fantastic is this? This was a $68 dress from TARGET that the bride fancied up herself! She cut out acrylic-backed felt and printed off designs from the web and HOT GLUED them to her dress! She added tulle to the train in the back for more length and applied more leaves to the train. Included in the detail are leaves, vines, animals, she and her husband's initials, and a quote "it's all true" that is also inscribed on their wedding bands. How amazingly talented is she?!

Oh to be married...

How fantastic are these wedding photos?! Her dress is to die for! And with her hair cut and small bouquet of flowers...so 60s! I love the simplicity of it all. I'm pretty sure I need that dress!

And They Lived Happily Ever After...

A subway ride and a McDonald's reception. Who says you have to spend a lot to have a great wedding?!

I love even more that he is holding her bouquet while she takes a sip ; )

Heaven

I will own these some day.

Perhaps the most perfect wedding shoe. Or perhaps just the most perfect shoe ever.

Christian Louboutin is a god.

Just some ideas...

loving the crackers, fruit, and cheese platter (disregard the photo of the woman!) perfect for an outdoor wedding in the late summer/early fall...

loving this color palette and the "earthiness" of it all...very chic
