Sorry for the lack of blogging these past few days. Trying to get my life together! So far, I have been unsuccessful, hence, the lack of postings. I have been lacking some inspiration these days. But fortunately.....
IT'S COUTURE SEASON!!! Yay! Couture is by far my most favorite of all the collections. And it has officially begun. Thank god for Christian Dior and John Galliano. I absolutely love his collection this season. Such a throwback to the 1950s when clients came into the salon to view the pieces. TO DIE FOR.
Yep, pretty sure I need to own this hat/hairpiece.
The use of color in this collection is stunning. And who doesn't love vintage lingerie?!
Is it just me or can anyone totally see a young Sohpia Loren rocking this baby?! So beautiful.

Correction: this is perfection. I would kill to wear this for my wedding dress. {Above dress, not below haha. Though maybe....}
Simply beautiful. Mr. Galliano never ceases to amaze me with his style and impeccable taste. I know it's so "50s" and that we've seen these silhouettes before but done this way, they are new and fresh again. I heart you Dior....
I'm kind of thinking about doing this again for future shows. Would anyone be interested? Or does everyone just check out Style.com like I do?!

Funny thing...I was talking to my mom this weekend and I said I would love to have lived in the '40's and '50s due to the conservative, yet form fitting clothes. Sophisticated, chic, and yet exhibiting a subtle sexiness. So one thing to Christian Dior and John Galliano, "Bring back the 50s!!!"
